KYCC Clean Town Project

The KYCC Clean Town Project is an event that is dedicated towards keeping the streets of Los Angeles clean. Hwarang Youth Foundation works in collaboration with the Korean Youth Community Center to clean up a chosen neighborhood, block to block. Members have the opportunity to either pick up trash off the streets, or remove graffiti from public spaces. In recognizing the current state of their community, they actively participate in promoting a safer and cleaner environment. Through this experience, members are able to collaborate with fellow leaders to rid the community of graffiti or litter that may convey a misleading message to residents.
